開考 15 分鐘後，你嘅命運已經注定

每年 DSE English Paper 3 放榜，總有一班學生喊住問：「我明明操咗 5 份 past paper，點解最後得 4 分？」答案好殘酷：你操錯方向。

根據考評局 2025 年《試題專輯》，Paper 3 嘅合格率（Level 3 或以上）只有 64.2%，比起 Paper 1 閱讀卷嘅 71.5% 明顯低一截。而最令人心寒嘅係，有超過 30% 嘅考生喺 Data File 部份 被評為「未能有效整合資訊」，直接跌出 Level 5 嘅範圍。

今日呢篇文章，我會以一個曾經參與過 DSE 英文科評卷工作嘅身份，同你拆解 Paper 3 攞 7 分（即係 5**）嘅真正關鍵。唔係叫你背更多生字，而係教你 「聽少啲，攞多啲分」 嘅策略。

陷阱一：你以為 Listening 係「聽」，其實係「篩」

好多學生犯嘅第一個錯誤，就係以為 Paper 3 嘅 Listening 部份係考「聽力」。錯。考評局真正考嘅，係你喺噪音中篩選資訊嘅能力。

睇返 2025 年 Past Paper，Part A 嘅錄音長度係 45 分鐘，但入面有成 65% 嘅內容係「干擾資訊」——即係廢話、重複、或者同答案完全無關嘅對話。例如，2025 年有一題問「What time does the museum open on Sundays?」，錄音入面嘅導遊先講咗一大段關於博物館歷史嘅故事，再講開放時間。結果好多學生聽到後面嘅歷史故事就分心，到真正講時間嗰句時，已經錯過咗。

實戰策略：預先「畫重點」

喺 Listening 開始之前，你有 5 分鐘閱讀時間。呢 5 分鐘係你嘅黃金時間。你應該做嘅係：

  1. 掃描所有題目嘅關鍵字（例如時間、日期、人名、數字）
  2. 喺題目旁邊畫底線，提醒自己呢啲係你要「等」嘅資訊
  3. 預測答案類型：係名詞定動詞？係時間定地點？

例子： 如果題目係「The meeting will be held at _____」，你應該即刻知道你要等嘅係一個地點或者一個時間。錄音一講「at the conference room」或者「at 3 pm」，你就要即刻寫低。

2025 年 Part A 有一題係「The charity event raised $_____」，好多學生聽到「$50,000」就寫落去，但其實後面仲有一句「after deducting expenses, the net amount is $32,000」。如果你冇預先知道你要等嘅係「淨收入」而唔係「總收入」，你就會中伏。

陷阱二：Data File 唔係「抄書」，係「翻譯」

Part B 嘅 Data File 係最多學生死嘅地方。點解？因為佢哋以為 Data File 係「照抄」Task 9 或者 Task 10 嘅資料。錯晒。

考評局喺 2025 年《試題專輯》清楚指出：「考生須將資料重新組織，並以適當格式呈現。」 即係話，你唔可以就咁 copy and paste 原文。你要做嘅係 「翻譯」——將 Data File 入面嘅 bullet points 變成完整嘅句子，再整合成一個有邏輯嘅段落。

實戰拆解：2025 年 Task 9

2025 年 Task 9 係要你寫一封「proposal email」俾你嘅上司，建議公司參加一個環保展覽。Data File 俾咗你呢啲資料：

  • Exhibition name: Green Future Expo 2025
  • Date: 15-17 October 2025
  • Venue: Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre
  • Booth fee: $8,000 (early bird discount: 15% off if registered before 31 August)
  • Expected visitors: 50,000+

好多學生嘅答案係咁寫：

The Green Future Expo 2025 will be held on 15-17 October 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The booth fee is $8,000. There is an early bird discount of 15% if registered before 31 August. Expected visitors are 50,000.

呢份答案最多攞 4 分（Level 4）。 點解？因為佢只係「抄書」，冇任何分析或者建議。

7 分（5）嘅答案係咁寫：**

I strongly recommend that our company participates in the Green Future Expo 2025, which will take place from 15 to 17 October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This expo is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors, making it an excellent platform to showcase our latest eco-friendly products. 睇到分別未？7 分嘅答案做咗三件事：

  1. 加入咗個人意見（「strongly recommend」）
  2. 計算咗實際數字（$8,000 減 15% = $6,800）
  3. 連結咗公司目標（「aligns with our sustainability goals」）

呢啲就係評卷員所謂嘅「高階思維」。

陷阱三：時間分配 — 你嘅最大敵人

Paper 3 嘅考試時間係 2 小時 15 分鐘，但好多人喺 Part A 用咗超過 1 小時，搞到 Part B 得返 45 分鐘，結果 Data File 寫到一半就夠鐘。

時間分配策略

根據我嘅經驗同 Past Paper 分析，最理想嘅時間分配係：

  • Part A (Listening): 50 分鐘（包括 5 分鐘閱讀時間）
  • Part B (Data File): 75 分鐘（每題約 25 分鐘，共 3 題）

點解 Part B 要用咁多時間？ 因為 Part B 佔分 70%，而 Part A 只係 30%。你應該將最多時間放喺最多分嘅地方。

實戰技巧：Part A 嘅「跳題」策略

喺 Part A 入面，如果你遇到一題聽唔清楚，千祈唔好停留。即刻跳去下一題。你寧願錯一題，都唔好為咗一題而 miss 晒後面嘅 5 題。

2025 年 Part A 嘅 Audio Script 顯示，有一題關於「flight number」嘅答案係喺錄音嘅第 23 分鐘出現，但好多學生喺第 18 分鐘聽到一個類似嘅數字就寫咗落去，結果後面部份完全冇聽到。一題錯，連鎖反應，全軍覆沒。

陷阱四：格式錯誤 — 你唔知自己扣緊分

呢個係最多高分學生陰溝裏翻船嘅原因。你以為你寫得好，但評卷員一睇你嘅格式，即刻扣你分。

評卷員眼中嘅「格式紅線」

  1. Email 冇 subject line：扣 1 分
  2. Memo 冇「To」、「From」、「Date」：扣 2 分
  3. Proposal 冇「Introduction」、「Body」、「Conclusion」結構：扣 3 分
  4. 字數過多或過少：每超出 10% 扣 1 分

2025 年 Task 10 係要你寫一封「complaint letter」。Data File 俾咗你客戶投訴嘅內容，你要用正式書信格式回覆。結果有超過 15% 嘅考生寫咗「Dear Sir/Madam」，但冇寫「Yours faithfully」或者「Yours sincerely」——直接扣 2 分。

格式速記表

  • Formal letter: 開頭用「Dear Mr/Ms [Last Name]」，結尾用「Yours sincerely」（如果你知道對方個名）或者「Yours faithfully」（如果你唔知道）
  • Email: 一定要有 Subject line，唔好寫「Hello」就算
  • Memo: 一定要有 To、From、Date、Subject
  • Report: 一定要有標題同段落標題，例如「Introduction」、「Findings」、「Recommendations」

實戰例子：2025 年 Task 8 完整拆解

等我用 2025 年 Task 8 做一個完整示範，由 4 分跳到 7 分。

題目背景

你係一個活動統籌，要寫一個「proposal」俾你嘅上司，建議公司舉辦一個「Team Building Day」。Data File 俾咗你呢啲資料：

  • Option A: Hiking at Dragon’s Back ($200 per person)
  • Option B: Cooking class at a hotel ($500 per person)
  • Option C: Escape room experience ($350 per person)
  • Budget: $20,000 for 40 staff
  • Staff feedback: 60% prefer outdoor activities, 30% prefer indoor, 10% no preference

4 分答案（典型）

There are three options for the team building day. Option A is hiking at Dragon’s Back, which costs $200 per person. Option B is a cooking class, which costs $500 per person. Option C is an escape room, which costs $350 per person. The budget is $20,000 for 40 staff. 60% of staff prefer outdoor activities.

After carefully considering the three options and the staff feedback, I recommend Option A: Hiking at Dragon’s Back. Here is my analysis:

Firstly, 60% of our staff expressed a preference for outdoor activities, and Dragon’s Back is one of Hong Kong’s most popular hiking trails. This aligns with the majority’s preference and is likely to boost participation rates.

Secondly, the cost of $200 per person for 40 staff totals only $8,000, which is well within our $20,000 budget. This leaves $12,000 for additional activities or a post-hike lunch, making it a cost-effective choice.

In comparison, Option B would cost $20,000 for 40 staff, exhausting our entire budget with no room for extras. Option C, at $14,000, is also more expensive and does not cater to the majority’s preference for outdoor activities.

Therefore, I strongly recommend Option A as it best balances staff preferences, budget constraints, and overall value.

第 1-10 日：Listening 特訓

  • 每日聽 1 個 Part A（用 HKDSE Past Paper 2019-2025）
  • 重點練習「篩選資訊」：聽完之後，試吓講返錄音入面邊啲係「關鍵資訊」，邊啲係「干擾資訊」
  • 用 1.2x 速度 聽錄音，咁樣真正考試時你會覺得慢咗，更加容易捕捉細節

第 11-20 日：Data File 結構訓練

  • 每日寫 1 個 Task 9 或 Task 10
  • 重點練習「翻譯」：將 bullet points 變成完整段落
  • 每次寫完之後，對住 評分標準 自己改卷

第 21-30 日：模擬考試

  • 每 3 日做 1 次完整嘅 Paper 3 模擬考試（限時 2 小時 15 分鐘）
  • 重點練習時間分配：Part A 最多用 55 分鐘，Part B 最少用 80 分鐘
  • 搵老師或者補習導師幫你改卷，特別係格式同結構
